The American Legion Post 356 held their annual holiday party at the Muskego Moose Lodge January 27, 2018 and a good time was had by all.
Not wind nor snow nor bitter cold can stop dedicated troops from their appointed tasks. The Muskeg American Legion Post 356 and the VFW Post 8171 once again joined forces to present Colors for the Muskego Christmas Parade.
The students and faculty of Franklin High School welcomed veterans from the area to an excellent ceremony with speeches and songs at a very early 8:00 am on a Friday morning. The students arranged parking, a delicious breakfast and a welcome that warmed our hearts on a cool November morning. Thank you.

The Muskego American Legion Post 356 celebrated a Flag Day flag retirement ceremony with the residents of the Stony Creek Adult Community June 14, 2017.

The Muskego American Legion Post 356 joined forces with the Muskego VFW Post 8171 to honor veterans of the Korean war. THe ceremony is in response to the 2011 Defense Authorization Bill. Sixteen veterans were recognized and presented with the Korean Commemorative Pin.
