March 29th is National Vietnam Veterans Day, a day for uniting Americans to thank and honor Vietnam War Era veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice.

On Tuesday March 29th, 2022, the Muskego American Legion Post 356 will have a ceremony to recognize all Veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces from November 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975, regardless of duty location.  It will be held at the Muskego Old Settlement on Racine Avenue at 5:00 p.m.

More than 3 million Vietnams Era veterans and their families have been publicly thanked by friends and neighbors during some 19 thousand ceremonies hosted by more than 12 thousand dedicated Commemorative Partners, but there is still more to do.  We lose more that 500 Vietnam Era veterans every day.  Many residing in hospices and long-term care facilities.  Help us honor these brave men and women who served and sacrificed before our opportunity vanishes .
