“Patriotism” Scholarship Program 2022-2023 School Year
DEADLINE for scholarship applications is Friday, April 21, 2023, 5:00 p.m. (No exceptions).
Three $1000.00 scholarships will be awarded by May 27th, 2023, and made payable to the accredited post-secondary institution the student will be attending.
Scholarship funds will be awarded to the student upon evidence of registration in an accredited post-secondary institution.
Purpose:
To provide scholarships to deserving Muskego high school graduating seniors interested in or intending to pursue post-high school course of study at either college/university or other post-secondary educational institution.
Multiple $1000 scholarships awarded to the students selected by the American Legion / American Legion Auxiliary Post 356 Scholarship Committee.
Criteria:
Must be a United States citizen.
Must be graduating from Muskego High School
Must be a son, stepson, grandson, great grandson, daughter, stepdaughter, granddaughter, or great granddaughter of a current or previous member of a branch of United States Military including the United States Coast Guard. **Identify the relationship and branch of service in your essay on Patriotism. **
Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (or class ranking in top 15%) and submit transcript of credits.
