                                                                         Veterans Day Ceremony

The Muskego American Legion Post 356 held their annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Veterans Day November 11, 2020.  The location was the Veterans Memorial at Horn Park, at 10:00 a.m. The weather was cool but mostly sunny, with a slight breeze.  Much better that last year when it was below freezing and snowing.

There were eight Post members participating, some family members and guests present, to include the City of Muskego Mayor and Police Chief.

The ceremony opening included the posting of the colors, the Pledge of Allegiance, invocation by the Post Chaplain and the singing of Gold Bless America.  The Post Commander gave an inspiring Veterans Day speech, which is attached.(WORD)   Afterword, the Chaplain gave a closing prayer, there was a rifle salute and taps honoring all lost veterans and the retiring of the Colors to close the ceremony.
