Muskego American Legion Scholarship Awards for 2023

At the Muskego American Legion Post 356 June membership meeting, the Post presented the annual American Legion/American Legion Auxiliary Post 356 Scholarship awards. Three $1,000 scholarships were presented to graduating Muskego High School seniors.

Three Muskego Highschool students each received $1,000.  Auxiliary President Pat Korth presented the awards to the following:

  • Matthew Selke, Matt has a grade point of 3.889 and an ACT score of 28.  He plans to attend UW Madison to study industrial engineering.
  • Arianna Namazi, Arianna has a grade point of 3.7 and an ACT of 24.  She plans to attend Marquette University to get a nursing degree with a minor in Spanish.
  • Thomas Dobke, he has a grade point of 3.498 and an ACT score of 22.  He also plans to attend Marquette University Statistical Science and Computer Science.

We congratulate them and wish them well on their next milestone in life.

 

About the American Legion Post 356 & American Legion Post 356 Auxiliary – Norway School District / Muskego High School “Patriotism” Scholarship Program

Three $1000.00 scholarships are awarded annually and made payable to the accredited post-secondary institution the student will be attending upon evidence of registration in an accredited post-secondary institution.

The purpose is to provide scholarships to deserving Muskego high school graduating seniors interested in or intending to pursue post-high school course of study at either college/university or other post-secondary educational institution.

Criteria: 

  • Must be a United States citizen.
  • Must be graduating from Muskego High School
  • Must be a son, stepson, grandson, great grandson, daughter, stepdaughter, granddaughter, or great granddaughter of a current or previous member of a branch of United States Military including the United States Coast Guard.
  • Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (or class ranking in top 15%) and submit transcript of credits.
