Muskego American Legion Scholarship Program

The Muskego American Legion Post 356 in conjunction with the Muskego American Legion Auxiliary sponsor an annual “Patriotism" scholarship program with the Norway School District/Muskego High School.  Depending on available funds, the Post has awarded as many as three $1,000 scholarships, per year.

Tudor Oaks July 4, Drive By July 3, 2020

The Muskego American Legion Post 356 participated in a July 4th Drive-By Ceremony for the residents of Tudor Oaks Senior Living Community in Muskego Wisconsin, on July 3rd.  Because of the Covid-19 virus pandemic,  an indoor ceremony was not recommended.  Michele Vogt the Lifestyle Director and other ladies of the Tudor Oaks staff decided to have a drive by outside the building.

During the 9/11 attacks, they were the first responders running into burning and crumbling buildings as others ran out.  Now, during the Coronavirus pandemic, the most visible heroes are the health care professionals, who are saving others and risking their own lives while doing so.

Governor Evers issued Executive Order #76

Today, Governor Evers issued Executive Order #76, relating to a proclamation that the flag of the United States and the flag of the State of Wisconsin be flown at Half-Staff as a mark of respect for Peace Officers who have given their lives in the line of duty.
