Dear Commemorative Partners, June marks Army Heritage Month and the Tuesday, June 14 anniversary of our Nation’s longest-established Service, which also, notably, is Flag Day! Happy 247th Birthday, United States Army! As its history unfolded, the U.S. Army was commonly associated with terms like infantry, artillery and armor. During the Vietnam War, however, the helicopter came of age, air mobility became the centerpiece of Army operations, and Vietnam was justifiably labeled as the "helicopter war"

Dear Commemorative Partners,
Memorial Day—the last Monday in May—began in 1868 as
“Decoration Day.” Founder John A. Logan, Grand Army of the
Republic commander in chief, designated it “for the purpose of
strewing with flowers or otherwise decorating the graves of comrades
who died in defense of their country during the late rebellion, and
whose bodies now lie in almost every city, village, and hamlet
churchyard in the land.”

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

We would like to invite all Veterans and their loved ones to a presentation on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The presentation will be on May 4th at 7:00 PM at the Muskego Moose Lodge # 1057. Their address is S86W21693 Janesville Rd. Muskego. The presentation will be made by Jeff Whittle MD, a doctor at the Zablocki VA in Milwaukee. Below is a letter we received from him.
