Those American Flags along our Roadways Look Great. They make us proud to be an American and a Muskego Citizen. That Display and others, are possible because of the American Legion Flag Project operated by American Legion Post 356 in cooperation with the City of Muskego and supported by the Citizens of Muskego.

The Muskego American Legion Post 356 & Post 356 Auxiliary awarded three more Muskego–Norway School District Muskego High School 2025 Senior students’ scholarships. Samantha Selke, Amelia Senart, and Lilly Namazi each received $1,000 for the accredited post-secondary institution they will be attending.

Amelia will be attending the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh campus to study finance & actuaries sector.

Whatever else war is – and it has been described in every way, from one slightly profane work to countless pages of histories and novels – it is a unique and memory-stirring experience for those who were most intimately involved as members of the armed forces.  From the shared experiences and the quickened feeling of kinship have sprung many organizations of ex-servicemen.

What is Memorial Day and why do we celebrate it?

Memorial Day is a US federal holiday observed annually on the last Monday of May to honor and remember the men and women who have died while serving in the U.S. military. It's a day of solemn reflection and remembrance, marked by various ceremonies and observances, including decorating graves, parades, and the National Moment of Remembrance.

A Blue Star Service Banner displayed in the window of a family home is a long tradition in America. The Banner lets others know that someone from this home is actively serving in the United States Armed Forces. As the “War Against Terrorism” continues, this Blue Star Service Banner reminds us of all that this war touches every neighborhood throughout our Land.
